The Newcomen Rolt Prize

The Council of the Newcomen Society established the Newcomen Rolt Prize, in memory of LTC Rolt (1910-1974) who played an important role in the Society and generally in developing the history of technology and industrial archaeology. The Prize was originally intended for the best paper published in Transactions in the previous three years, however, the precise rules for the award are currently under review.
